Executable MOST Compliance Test Specifications Available For Free Download
Starting with MOST Forum 2010, members of MOST Cooperation can not only download for free the test specification in PDF format but also executable test specifications in TTCN-3 standard. The executable test specifications will be maintained by RUETZ SYSTEM SOLUTIONS GmbH and made available to MOST Cooperation.
TTCN-3 Standard As A Format For Defining, Visualising And Documenting MOST Compliance Tests
Experience from project work and compliance specification work has shown that, at a purely documentary level, detailed displays with a high degree of accuracy can only be achieved by expending enormous efforts. Often this leaves ample scope for interpretation caused by deficient adjustments.
This is why MOST Cooperation will use TTCN-3 as a test language in graphical notation, too.
The scope for interpretation disappears when using TTCN-3 in the graphical representation form GFT (graphical format of TTCN-3) as a test description language. When using TTsuite MOST by RUETZ SYSTEM SOLUTIONS, the test cases, that are specified in GFT, can be executed against real MOST systems or simulations. This means that intensive verification is possible in the first design phase.
"Extended MOST Core Compliance Test Specification: MOST High Protocol" is the first in a series of new test specifications. It will be launched at MOST Forum 2010 and an executable version can be downloaded for free on the MOST Cooperation Intranet.
RUETZ SYSTEM SOLUTIONS will present TTsuite MOST and the executable test specification for "Extended MOST Core Compliance Test Specification: MOST High Protocol" at the MOST Forum 2010, on 23 March 2010.
